The assesment of spring water as a portable water use in the perspective of accession of Turkey to European Union (Eu) in terms of legislation

The most colorful circles of our life as a key to our future, which we are more involved in everyday, which is used for future century plans in this century, are terms for economy knowledge, globalization, innovation, technology, sustainability, renewability and many more. In addition to all these, for the next century, water wars, epidemics, opportunity inequality, violations of human rights, inadequate Access to basic needs, famine and thirst are not only the terms but also make sense. Even with these predictions which threats only the human life needs a resource management which is sustainable and interdisciplinary and this need is growing day by day. This paper examines that the assessment of spring water as a portable water use in the perspective of accession of Turkey to European Union (EU) in terms of legislation and efforts have been made to comply with the legislation on all stages of the national water legislation in accordance with the European Union Water Framework directive, from the stage of obtaining permission to use to the production and marketing process, and the necessary processes to be done in harmony. In our country, primary and subordinate regulations on water management are very old. Adaptation to today's conditions is mainly provided by secondary regulations. These sub-regulations do not conform to current conditions and EU harmonization process requirements. For this purpose, the New Water Law studies are underway and it is concluded that it is necessary not only to organize this regulation but to be governed by a basin-based management approach, not the political boundaries, within the natural conditions and dynamics of the resources from a disciplinary point of view.
