Abstract (EN)
Informal employment, which is the face of the informal economy reflected in working life, is a common problem of developed and developing countries. While employers want activities that can be considered as unregistered employment for their own benefit, employees accept it out of necessity or prefer this form of employment themselves. There are a number of economic and financial, social, legal and bureaucratic reasons that cause unregistered employment, as well as social security. Although unregistered employment has positive aspects, its negative aspects can harm the economies of countries. The segment most affected by unregistered employment is the female workforce. Although they have great contributions to the country's economy, the female workforce is employed informally for various reasons. For this reason, the relationship between informal employment and female labor force was discussed, and a field study was conducted on why women living in Bağcılar work informally and how their working conditions are.
