The government system in the country is Semi-Presidential System, especially since the constitutional amendment in 2017. In Kazakhstan, where the balance of power in the executive has deteriorated in favor of the president, there are problems with the sharing of state power. This government system, which has high authoritarian tendencies, is seen as a structure that needs to be changed from time to time in the country. The Semi-Presidential System, on the other hand, has a different structure from the Presidential System and the Parliamentary System; The case of Kazakhstan is unique in terms of its political history, political tradition, and government system. Kazakhstan is experiencing some problems due to excessive centralization of execution. However, the limited power of the government and parliament, which constitutes a wing of the executive, brings along democratic problems in the country. The structure of the government system is the most important mechanism that will ensure a country's transition to democracy.
