Özet (EN)
During historical and social period; material and spiritual values coming in view and the set of values forming their structures by transferring them to next generations constitute culture. With its longstanding past our culture has lived in oral tradition for years and by writing been transferred to the next generations. In our national culture, which has carried on its entity formed as the result of the experiences practised for centuries and being transferred between generations, various written and oral works have been composed and a rich cultural heritage has occured. This rich cultural treasure has continued its entity by keeping up with the times and incorporating the works written today to its memory, even if it has fallen into some changes. Dissociating culture, which is a manner/philosophy of life, from individual is impossible. It is inevitable to be intagrated with the value judgements of society for an individual as a member of it. Although he began his literary life at his late ages Kemal Bilbaşar who has been accepted as succesful within the writers of Repubican period, has proved his not being not far from the values of the society by his works. Kemal Bilbaşar as a socialist realist writer has guided to his society for becoming a useful person for them and tried to mention cultural elements, pleasures and suffers, customs and traditions, in short all folkloric components of the society. In this study, we tried to determine how and in what way the folkloric materials appear in the social novels of writer, the reasons of their usage and the results.
