Abstract (EN)

Sufism has also manifested itself in literature, where it is influential in every aspect of culture. The influence of Sufism on literature has been mostly through the presence of Sufi concepts and terms in the texts and the different layers of meaning they create. In this respect, the diwans of Kemal Ummi, Semseddin-i Sivasi and Niyazi-i Mısri also provide very rich data in terms of mystical concepts and terms. In our thesis, based on the functional dictionary of the 15th century Tekke poet Kemal Ummi's Diwan, which was created within the scope of our study and includes the religious-mystical items, the mystical concepts/terms in the diwans of Kemal Ummi, Semseddin-i Sivasi and Niyazi-i Mısri, the layers of meaning created with them. Here, idioms created with mystical concepts/terms, contrasts between concepts/terms, synonyms/similar usages, Turkishization of concepts/terms, definitions of spaces created with concepts/terms, expressions of person-group and metaphors are discussed.
