Abstract (EN)
In this study, morphologic and molecular characterization of 90 cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) breeding lines at F5-F7 stages and 6 commercial varieties were carried out. The 90 cucumber lines consists of 52 Beit alpha, 21 barbed, 10 almond and 7 field types. For morphological characterization, 27 characters were evaluated based on the criteria determined by UPOV and TTSM. Fruit size, number of fruits for per plant, yield for per plant, fruit color, and fruit hardness were evaluated and some of the selected breeding lines showed better results than commercial varieties used as a control in the study. For molecular characterization a total of 301 bands were obtained with 28 iPBS primers and 123 of them were polymorphic and 15 SRAP primers produced a total of 112 bands and 20 of them were polymorphic. As a result of analyzes the molecular and morphologic data the genetic similarities or dissimilarities among the cucumber lines were determined.
