Abstract (EN)

Today, especially in developed countries, since the 1960s, studies have been carried out on Intelligent Transportation Systems and policies have been developed in many countries. Intelligent Transportation Systems started in developed countries such as Japan, America, Australia, but with the effect of technological developments, countries such as the Netherlands, Singapore, Germany, South Korea and England are also working on Intelligent Transportation Systems. With the effect of technological developments all over the world, Intelligent Transportation Systems has created an important market area and this has led to a competitive environment between countries. In this study, smart transportation systems technologies and artificial intelligence technologies were used in order to minimize the problems experienced in accessing by public transportation vehicles. In this context, first of all, the data taken from BURULAŞ and covering the journeys between January and June 2019, were analyzed through Microsoft SQL Server and Spyder programs. In this context, the journeys arriving at Bursa Uludağ University in January and June 2019 were analyzed according to the criteria of month, day and hour, based on certain calendar days according to ticket and line types. As a result of the analysis, the information on which line is used the most and which ticket type at which time was obtained. The passenger number data of these different lines and ticket types were used to forecast through Spyder. Thus, estimates of the number of passengers at different times of the desired bus lines arriving at Bursa Uludağ University were obtained.
