Abstract (EN)
This research has been carried out to determine the impact of present water surfaces on the physcial structure of Adana City which has developed fastly in Çukurova region. In addition principle of water areas planning and design have been tried to create in this research. Firstly, present water surfaces has been determined in Adana and its influnces upon the city climate and planning of water usages and water design and project type in the parks and public squares have been considered. Finally, tendency and expectation of inhabitants for the sake of water surfaces has been determined and the principle of new water surfaces which will be created way of the multiple usage of the present water surface have been tried to identify in this research.
