Abstract (EN)
Social structure shaped by migration in one of the fastest growing cities in our country, Diyarbakır, witnessed inadequate for the demands of the production of physical planning decisions for space requirements. This situation has led too many serious problems while effective in the formation of today's urban form with it. In the study, the spatial changes in the development process and urban form investigated in the city of Diyarbakir.In the study, the developments of the city were examined in a historical process determined in accordance with aims and scope. In addition with taking into account the use of natural and artificial thresholds evaluated by recently prepared development plans.In this direction tracked changes in the form of urban planning process in Diyarbakır city and the city?s natural resources and potentials have been developed by examining the proposals to form the city?s future.
