Özet (EN)
The development of new materials and construction techniques with technology has led to the formation of new forms and uses in architecture. It can be said that with the change in environmental conditions in the prevalent formatting attitude in architecture, the structure is passively changed by the elements such as light, color, and shadow, and maintains its static state with all other morphological elements. With kinetic design studies, which have seen impressive examples in the field of energy efficient design in recent years, buildings respond to changes by becoming sensitive to environmental conditions. In this study, which emphasizes the relationship between technology and architecture, it is aimed to evaluate the role of kinetic elements in producing architectural form. In this context, kinetic architecture has been examined and the contribution of movement to the change of architectural form has been evaluated through the different examples which have kinetic properties. As a result of the evaluations, it has been determined that the kinetic elements developed with the support of technology affect the formation of architectural form through various positions, with different purposes and position changes.
