Abstract (EN)
Understanding human and getting participate him to the organizational processes effectively is the main problem for the organizations. It is absolute that organizations solved this problem will be more productive. Personality studies are an important step on the way to understand and solve this problem. Studies about explanation and measurement for personality have increased very much and have made significant progress recently. Since Five Factor Model has proven its validity and reliability in the scientific circumstances, it is well known and accepted all around (Hough & Öneş, 2001), and has a consensus about it is the best way to explain personality (Digman, 1990; Hogan, Hogan & Roberts, 1996). On the other hand, job satisfaction and organizational commitment are the two important job results showing human behaviours effects on the organizations. Job satisfaction, is the source of pruductivity and quality and has an important role for the organizations and workers. On the other hand, organizational commitment is acceptance of organizational goals and desire to continue in the organization. And it effects every job results in the organizations. Workers belong to two banks in İstanbul are the sampling of this research. And this research focuses on the effects of personality components on job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Additionally searching the effects of age, gender etc. is objective of this study as well. Hypothesis of the research are being analyzed by using statistical analyze techniques. And with the help of results and assesments, contribution of the research to the organizational theory is discussed.
