Özet (EN)
In this empirical research we will try to predict employee's engagement by personality traits and how moderator 'empowerment leadership' changes the effects of personality traits on work outcome (employee's engagement) with implementation in the healthcare industry-hospital. As a first step research must identify which personality traits are the most strongly related to engagement. After, need to answer which personality traits explain the most variance in engagement. The Big-Five Personality Traits Items are developed by Goldberg Lewis R.. To measure employee engagement, I used the most popular framework developed by the Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES). Personality traits are related with human actions. In the work place organizational environment is important too. Employee engagement has been linked to increased productivity, financial returns, and sales too. It is the reason why I will try to pRetict work outcomes (employee engagement) by personality traits. Empowering leadership as moderation in the relationship of personality traits-work outcome is supposed to share power with employee by describing the significance of the employee's job, providing greater decision-making autonomy, expressing confidence in the employee's capabilities and removing barriers to performances. The constructs of empowering leadership are developed by Ahearne, Mathieu, and Rapp.
