Personal protective equipment and application examples of their uses

Personal protective equipments, commonly referred to as "PPE", is equipment worn to minimize exposure to a variety of hazards. One method of preventing work accidents and occupational diseases is to protect employees. The most important way to protect employees within the scope of their work is to provide personal protective equipment and use it for its intended purpose. In this thesis study, firstly, information about occupational health and safety and work accidents was provided. Secondly, information was given about the personal protective equipment mostly used in our country, and information was given about the selection of various personal protective equipment, TS EN standards and selection criteria. In the final stage of the thesis, personal protective equipment and their uses in different sectors were examined.
