In this study, the language used in Dede Korkut (Dada Gorgut) Stories is evaluated from folklore aspect with a holistic approach. By looking at the language of Dede Korkut (Dada Gorgut) Stories, Oghuz culture, faith, and mentality are evaluated. With the help of evaluation of Oghuz culture, faith and mentality, the subject of who, why, when, how, and what for had conflicts and agreements is discussed. Meaning of words is not alone constituted by the object, event, condition, action, work, existence, execution, doing and activities which they connotate. Knowledge of people who speak the language, manners, experience and moral values have a major impact on the formation of meaning content. To comply with the norms determined by values system means a hidden consensus. Violation of the rules put by the values system leads to conflict in society. The values system additionally worths attention due to its features and power to determine the relationship between the dominant one and amenable one.
