Özet (EN)

In this study the determination of plasma total oxidant status (TOS) and total antioxidant status (TAS) on Cyprinus carpio that applied different doses of chlorpyrifos-ethylis aimed. In this study 30 Cyprinus carpio (L. 1758) held from Tahtaköprü Dam were used. The adaptation of the fishes to new polyethylene tank environment (22-25 ° C and normalphotoperiod) containing 1g/L water for 10 days after the transportation to the laboratory was provided. Then, the fishes were divided in to 3 groups that each includes 10 fishes as control, 0.040 mg/L CPF I and 0.080 mg/L CPF II. After 14 days application period blood samples were taken from the fishes and plasmas were separated. TOS/TAS statuses were analyzed in plasma samples. When the biochemical parameters of the blood samples obtained from the fishes that added 0.040 and 0.080 mg/L CPF to their life environment and the fishesfound in control group were considered, it has been found that TOS levels are significantly increased (p<0.001) in CPF groups (0.040 and 0.080 mg/L) compared to the control, however TAS levels are decreased significantly (p<0.001). It has been determined that PON1 activity and HDL levels (p<0.001) were significantly decreased in other groups (CPFI ile CPFII) compared with control. The increment of TOS levels depend onincreased doses, decrement of PON1, HDL, TAS levels give rise to thought that CPF increases oxidative stress that cause the increase of reactive oxygen forms and weaken antioxidant system in fishes. Keywords:Total Oxidant Status, Total Antioxidant Status, Cyprinus carpio, Chlorpyriphos - ethyl, Paraoksonaz, High Density Lipoprotein.
