SMEs loads

SMEs have an important role in economic life as in social life. They bring a value for economy with their desire to invest and create employment area and for their courageous steps to maintain these desires,In 2000s; most of banks, while they were working as deposit banking, realized the SMEs which are the locomotive of economy. With realizing that SMEs will play a great role in profitability of banks and that the main policy of the country will be intended to them, they put into effect fonds and different types of banking products for SMEs. With the credits for SMEs which has high added value for economy; as increasing the employent and creating the dynamic of economy were being aimed, with growing of these businesses the profitability of banks is also aimed. SMEs provide the big part of production and employment and they keep an important role in economy. Countries in the whole world; as they develope programs and policies intended to support SMEs which are the dynamics of their economy; banks, on the other hand, are developing credit oppurtinities in the name of "SME Banking". In the first chapter of this work which consists four chapter, definition of SMEs and their main features has been given. In the second chapter, their advantages, disadvantages and their importance in Turkey and world has been explained. In the third chapter, supporting SMEs in Turkey and main establishments which support SMEs have been specified. In the last chapter; with specifying the main fond that banks give and services that banks provide and with a financing technical analysis of a firm, added value that this firm gives to economy has been discussed.
