Abstract (EN)

Within the scope of this thesis, the glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase enzyme from the compost worm was purified. Biochemical characterization studies of the enzyme such as optimum pH, optimum ionic intensity, optimum activity display temperature, content of KM and Vmax, were determined. Also, the effects of pesticides such as oxamyl, carbaryl, dinaconazole, metalaxyl, methomyl, carbofuran, simazine, tebuconazole, atrazine, propoxur, 1- naphthol, 2,4-D and metal ions such as Pb(NO3)2, Cr(NO3)2, HgC12, FeS04, Ni(NO3)2, Cd(NO3)2, Co(NO3)2, AI(NO3)3 on the activity of Eisenia Foetida glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase activity were investigated. No effect of determined concentrations of these pollutants could be detected. In addition, the effects of some organic solvents were investigated. While ethanol, acetonitrile, ethanol showed inhibition effect, DMSO showed activation effect on the enzyme.
