An evaluation on the competitiveness of the accommodation sector cluster: Afyonkarahisar sample

As a result of globalization, commercial borders were affected and businesses on a global scale emerged, and accordingly, competition increased. Businesses that produce products or services that want to adapt to the increasing competitive environment have turned to the economic organizational movement both in micro and macro dimensions. The main reason for countries' success is seen as policy practices that increase competitiveness, which contributes to both producer and consumer welfare. One of the most important of these practices emerges as a cluster approach. The concept of clustering, which contributes to many areas such as productivity, ease of access to information, efficient use of resources, innovation, also has significant contributions to competition. Determining the effect of clustering and clustering on competitiveness in the tourism sector, which is one of the important sectors for the country's economy (Afyonkarahisar sample), is the main subject of this study.
