Abstract (EN)

Cyclodextrins are special substances those can generate inclusion complex with a wide range of molecules by help of their special and unique chemical and physical properties of the host molecules are changing. Thanks to this propert, cyclodextrins get into a broad range of use in many areas. The scope of this article is designing a textile substance which can adsorb undesirable odours by help of cyclodextrins complex generation capability with sources of these odours.Within this context ß-cyclodextrin applied fixed. 100% cotton fabrics have been treated to aniline and cyclohexylamine those are having unpleasant odour with vaporization property at room temperature. The structures of inclusion complex formation between ß-cyclodextrin and aniline, cyclohexylamine vapours has been evaluated by help of various characterization analysis methods. In order to quantitively analysing of inclusio complexes between ß-cyclodextrin those bound on cotton fibers and aniline or cyclohexylamine FTIR, DSC, TGA, ToF-SIMS and GC-MS characterization analyse methods has been performed.KeyWords: Cyclodextrin, unpleasant odour, aniline, cyclohexylamine, TGA, DSC
