Abstract (EN)

In this study, the changes in the position of women and their perspectives on women in the historical process, the loss of status of women against patriarchal power, their association with evil, their presentation as the source of evil and the reasons for this have been addressed in general framework. The approaches and attitudes of the narrator-authors has been examined choosing examples from the novels of the Tanzimat and Servet-i Fünun periods. By evaluating the perceptions and positions of women in mythology, theology and literature, the relationship between the concepts of evil and evil asthetics have been emphasized, and the tansition process of these concepts from literary narratives to novels have been discussed. The focus of the thesis is the reflection of evil in literaturewithin the framework of an aesthetic form by being associated with women and it is the presentation of the female characters signified with evil in the fictional World.
