Abstract (EN)

The existence of credit rating agencies has not been as popular as the period we have been living in at any time. The fact that capital moves beyond borders and transnational structure, the level of technological progress, the monetary and financial value of its assets begin to operate in many fields and, of course, the circulation of all kinds of information along with those living in the market has increased the importance of rating agencies. In this respect, rating agencies have assumed the role of reducing asymmetric information in capital markets and have come to a position of seeing a guiding duty. However, the major crises in the financial markets and the attitudes they exhibit in the face of events based on companies or countries have led to their questioning their reliability and reliability. In particular, the missing aspects foreseeing the crises brought with it the question marks that the neutrality of their neutrality often comes to the fore with the notes given to them at the financial markets. In this context, the analyzes conducted by credit rating agencies in the crises and crises experienced in this study were assessed in the light of concrete events and tried to examine how secure these institutions were. When the trust problems are questioned, the notes they have given up to date in the financial system have been taken. In this respect, the literature has been reviewed along with the case study.
