Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, different biostimulant fertilizers were added in addition to chemical fertilizers in basil cultivation in hydroponic systems in the greenhouse. In this study, two different doses of amino acid, bacteria, chitosan, fulvic acid, and vermicompost biostimulants were used. It was determined that the fertilizers applied to basil plants increased their phenol and flavonoid contents. Some biostimulants applied were found to increase the amount of antioxidants and anthocyanins in basil leaves. In the leaves of Rosie basil cultivar grown in hydroponic, the biostimulant fertilizers added to the medium had an increasing effect on the brix content, but there was no statistical difference. Moreover, fertilizers were effective in increasing the brightness and redness of basil leaves. It has been observed that biostimulants have an increasing effect on N, P, K, Ca, Mg, Fe, Mn, Zn, and Cu concentrations in basil leaves. In total leaf yield of Rosie basil plants grown in hydroponic, plants grown with biostimulant fertilizers produced higher yields than control plants. The least yield was measured as 5459.75 g/m^2 in control plants. The application in which the effect of the different biostimulant fertilizers applied on the total yield is most significant is the 500µl/L application of bacteria. As a result of this application, the total yield was determined as 9714.56 g/m^2. Different biostimulant fertilizers used in the experiment had both increasing and decreasing effects on lateral branch formation in basil plants. Among these effects, chitosan 300µl/L (24 units/plant) application increased the number of lateral branches of the plant the most. At the harvest on June 1, it was determined that the applied biostimulant fertilizers thickened the stem diameter of basil plants in all applications except amino acid application. It was established that the dry matter forming capacity of biostimulant fertilizers applied to basil plants grown in a hydroponic medium had an increasing effect in amino acid 600mg/L, chitosan300µl/L, fulvic acid 600mg/L and chitosan 150µl/L applications. Different biostimulant fertilizers added to the plants had an improving effect on root length, wet and dry weight of the root. Biostimulants used in addition to mineral fertilizers in hydroponic basil cultivation increased the yield during plant and root improvement.
