Initial periodontal treatment was performed according to full mouth disinfection and quadrant approaches. Patients were divided as quadrant patients (15 patients-1st group) and full mouth disinfection group. FMD group was further divided into three groups: twelve week of placebo tablets (15 patients-2nd group), probiotic tablets for six weeks and six weeks placebo tablets (15 patients- 3rd group) and twelve weeks of probiotic tablets (15 patients-4th group). The clinical measurements were repeated in 3 week intervals. At the end of 12 weeks, the clinical data was statistically analyzed. The results of this study showed that all treatment groups provided statistically significant improvement on periodontal health while there were no differences between groups.Key Words: Probiotic Bacteria, Full Mouth Disinfection, Periodontal Treatment
