Abstract (EN)

This study was carried out in the ecological conditions of Kırşehir in 2016 vegetation period. This study was conducted in completely randomized block design with tree replication to determine the adaptation of some sorghum and Sorghum-Sudangrass hybrid cultivars (Aneto, Greengo, Teide, Gözde 80, Sugar Graze, Early Sumac, Rox, Gardavan, Jumbo) in Kırşehir ecological conditions. The plant height, number of leaves, herbage, dry matter and crude protein yields, crude protein, ADF, NDF and DDM ratios of Sorghum, Sorghum-Sudangrass hybrid cultivars were determined between189.5-297.00cm, 7.5-10.3 pcs / plant, 3822.8-6486.6 kg/da, 1352.7-2848.0kg/da, 298.9-645.5kg/da, %30.4-37.3, %45.3-57.0, %59.7-65.2respectively. The increases in the ADF and NDF values of the Sorghum and Sorghum-Sudangrass hybrids led to decreases in quality properties such as crude protein ratio, digestible dry matter content and dry matter intake. According to the results, it was found out that the cultivars Jumbo and Aneto had good performances in terms of dry matter yield best performances in Kırşehir ecological conditions.
