In this research, it is tried to define the opinions of identified sample groups about essential content of Cosmetic Products I and Cosmetic Products II lessons in the Hairdressing and Beautycare Instructor Training Programme. This research has been made in the period of November 2002/ May 2003, with taking views of 454 persons composed of the people who are; working academicians in Department of Hair Dressing and Beauty Knowledge Education, academicians giving direct or/and indirect lessons about cosmetic products in state universities located in Ankara, working in overall Turkey and teachers graduated from Hairdressing and Beautycare Instructor Training Programme, randomly selected among the beauty saloon /centers in Ankara and Istanbul and cosmetic products consultants / salesmen in hair dressing saloons and pharmacies. The questionnaire used in the study is prepared by the researcher in order to define the contents of Cosmetic Products Lessons which included in Hairdressing and Beautycare Instructor Training Programme. In the questionnaire, the views that must be included or not in the contents of Cosmetic Products I and Cosmetic Products II lessons in the Hairdressing and Beautycare Instructor Training Programme was arranged as in one section. The summary results of the research are arranged as follows; 1. The academicians in the department of Hair Dressing and Beauty Instruction Teaching eliminate the "advanced knowledge of the skin physiology" and "advanced knowledge of the skin anatomy" topics among 86 suggestions for related lessons and think positively about the rest of the 84 proposed issues. 2. The academicians giving lessons on cosmetic products eliminate the "historical development of the term 'cosmetics' should be taught in chronologicalIV order", "advanced knowledge of the skin physiology" and "advanced knowledge of the skin anatomy" issues among 86 suggestions for related lessons and think positively about the rest of the 83 proposed issues. 3. People graduated from Hairdressing and Beautycare Instructor Training Programme eliminate the "historical development of the term 'cosmetics' should be taught accarding to the chronological order", "legal regulations of cosmetic products in Japan", "advanced knowledge of the skin physiology" and "advanced knowledge of the skin anatomy" issues among 86 suggestions for related lessons and think positively about the rest of the 82 proposed issues. 4. Cosmetic products consultants / salesmen eliminate the "historical development of the term 'cosmetics' should be taught according to the chronolocigal order", "historical development of the term 'cosmetics' should taught one by on each cosmetic product", "legal regulations of cosmetic products in Japan", "legal regulations of cosmetic products in U.S.A.", "advanced knowledge of the skin physiology" and "advanced knowledge of the skin anatomy" issues among 86 suggestions for related lessons and think positively about the rest of the 82 proposed issues. In the result of the research done according to the outputs, suggested subjects of the lessons Cosmetic Products I and Cosmetic Products II and their analysis were determined.
