Abstract (EN)

The science of kalam began to emerge at the end of the first centry of the Hicri and has continued uninterruptedly until today. Scholars who grew up in the field of kalam had a say in every period. In every century, dozens of scholars of kalam have grown. In the XVI. century, the period when the Ottoman state lived its peak. Some scholars of kalam were trained. In this period, one the Ottoman scholars who produced Works in the field of the history of theology and sects was Ya'kûb Bin Abdüllatîf. What makes this work important is that it is highly likely to be the first work in the field of kalam and İslamic sects to be copyrighted in Ottoman Turkish. Today, dozens of Ottoman Turkish manuscripts found on the dusty shelves of our libraries are waiting to be unearthed. Here is Ya'kûb Bin Abdüllatîf's manuscript titled "Islamic Sects and Theology" (Sects in Islam), which has just been revealed, was one of them. This study, which will deal with Abdüllatif's theological views, consists of there parts. In the introduction, we will give information about the purpose, method and sourcus and examine Ya'kûb Bin Abdüllatîf's life works and the period he lived. In the first, second and third chapters, we will discuss Ya'kûb Bin Abdüllatîf's theological views on the existence of Allah, his unity, his actions, the conditions of the hereafter, issues related to prophethood and imamete.
