This study covers the investigations and reseraches about zinc ore which has been producted by Adana Mining Corporation Ltd. The ore is in Horzum plateau, Adana-Kozan. In this mining area, the normal contains 6.02 % Zn and rich ore contains 27.47 % of Zn. And it has been observed that zinc ores also have been implying the contents of ZnS, FeS2, MgO and CaO. The experimental studies have been realised with normal ore, rich ore and tail of foundation flotaition. The purposes of investigations could be summarized as the primary gravimetric enrichment of the normal ore, to increase the, Zn content and then to feed the ore raised Zn content in the flotation department; such that by mean of gravimetric enrichment process of the rich ore, the content of Zn has reached a concentation which enables the ore to sell in the market and finally, to gain of tail of foundation flotation by increasing the Zn content by 2 %. For the above mentioned reason the following experiments have been aphed crushing-screening and finding- screening about normal ores. During the crushing-screening experment puts forward the ore very breakable. The grinding-screening experiments put forward the best grinding time which is 5 minute. In the experimental studies; normal and rich ores have undergone the foremost enrichment gravimetrically. During the process, the spiral and shaking table equipments have been used, but the spiral has not given the positive results. In spite of spiral equipments, the shaking table has given successful results both normal and rich ores. Apart from that studies, spiral, shaking table and MGS equipments have been used for tails of flotation foundation, but they have also not given the positive results. The average content (concentrate and intermediate product) and the metal recovery of the shaking table products conducted with normal ore has been obtained as 10.37 % of Zn and 85 % of metal recovery respectively. Then, in the one step cleaning the flotation experiment, the following results have been obtained. a. Zn content 53.98% b. metal recovery of 90.67 % In the other hand, the rich ore with the shaking table experiments results in, a. Zn content 47.75 % b. metal recovery of 62.35 %
