Abstract (EN)
Cultural and natural assets are recognized as the common heritage of humanity by international conventions to which our country is a party. The protection of these assets is also a constitutional obligation for the Republic of Turkey. Therefore cultural and natural assets need to be protected. Protection can be achieved in many different ways. In our study, the establishment, institutional structure, legal nature, duties and powers, working principles and procedures, decisions taken and legal supervision of these decisions of the administrative organization responsible for the protection of cultural and natural assets are discussed explained under headings.
