Abstract (EN)
In order to analyze how soils behave under static or dynamic loads, the strain level is considered in two groups as large strain region and small strain region. The engineering parameters needed for both regions are obtained by different methods. The shear modulus parameter, which is important in the analysis of small strains of soil under dynamic loads, can be obtained by different test methods. Shear modulus can also be obtained from geophysical field experiments and laboratory tests such as non-destructive methods such as resonant column test, ultrasonic pulse test and piezoelectric bender elements. In this context, a study was carried out on the small deformation behavior of the sandy pumice soil by using the piezoceramic bender elements in the laboratory triaxial setup.
