Abstract (EN)
This study which deals with Qur'an-originated sufism concepts in the main sufî classical books in the period before the formation of sufi orders consists of three chapters including an introduction. In the introduction chapter, after the subject of research, objectives, scope, methods, resources and conceptual framework have been discussed, we then presented the subject sufism's terminology in the period before the formation of sufi orders in general. Additionally in this section, concepts which in the main sufî classical books are examined in the tables. In the second section the concepts of ostensible (zâhir) in the Qur'an is discussed. These concepts were evaluated under two headings: "Concepts located with different derivatives in the Qur'an." and "Concepts located with meaning in the Qur'an." These concepts in this section have been divided into the above subjects. In the third section, emphasis has been put onto Qur'anic verses with an isharî meaning/mystical interpretation. These concepts are discussed in terms of the state and topic and how it takes part in the Qur'an. As a result of our study, 143 of 311 concepts in the main sufî classical books are deduced from the Qur'an. When examining the verses which were quoted as the authority for these concepts, we recognized that almost half of these concepts were deduced from ostensible meaning of the verses. Other concepts were deduced from the isharî meaning/mystical interpretations of the verses. Keywords: Qur'an, sufism concepts, terminology, mystical interpretations.
