Father prophets in the Qur'an and their role of fatherhood

In the history of humanity, the family institution has undertaken the most important task in making people become a society. When the teachings of divine religions and the data of anthropological excavations are examined, it is seen that the family is the first social institution. This shows that family is the first and the most basic institution for every society from past to present. The Quran also touches on this important institution (Rum, 30/21) and states that Adam and Eve, the first created humans, also live as a family (Zümer, 39/6; Nisa, 4/1; Bakara, 2 / 35) reported. The relationship and communication established in the family (Nisa, 4/1) where individuals were born and formed the first social environment, and the attitudes and roles displayed by the parents, by providing the development of individuals, personality and character formation, are effective in individuals to adopt all the religious and moral norms / values of their society. In general, mothers are held responsible for the development areas, upbringing and raising of children. However, fathers' contribution to the care and development of children is at least as important as mothers. When the contribution of fathers to childcare and their effects on the child's upbringing and development is viewed from the perspective of the Quran, it is seen that the fatherhood roles of the prophets in the family are effective in the children's mental, social, emotional and sexual development. For example, Hz. Despite the corruption of social values, Shuayb supported the social development areas by supporting the participation of his daughters in the working life, cooperating with them and keeping in touch with them.
