Salafi commentary of the Qur'an: The example of İbn 'Useymîn

Abstract (EN)

Salafism in Islamic communities during history, has continued its existence as an ecale and it has been mentioned in several Islamic sciences. İbn 'Useymîn is regarded as an important fifure in Salafism in 20th century, handed down the book, el-Kenzu's-Semîn fî Tefsîri İbn 'Useymîn, which is an important work in comment field. He, in this comment based on against gloss and he maintained against philosophy and kalam that are regarded wealthy of Islamic thought history. He was under the inflvence of Ahmed bin Hanbel, Ibn Teymiyye, Ibn Kayyım el-Cevziyye, Ibn Kesir, Muhammed bin Abdülvahhab, Abdurrahmân es-Sa'dî, Muhammed Emîn eş-Şınkîtî and Abdulaziz bin Baz. Among these scholars who were mentioned, Ibn Teymiyye put himself forward. The religious faith of Ibn Teymiyye shaped his comment. It is possible to see the topic of religious faith was sorutinized in his comment that is why his comment is viewed wisdom rather than story based. Also he made a point of comment of adjectival verse of the Koran. He never changed his position about intergretation of simile must be commented to apparent moreover. He described Muslims as ehl-i bidat and vaid in the fields of faith because of their behauiours. Mean while, the most striking point in his perception of comment is that he used componions of prophoet Muhammed, the tabiu and the words of them under the name of "predecessor words". Namely, his basic emphasis of the conception of Salafî comment is related to how the Koran was interpreted by Salaf-i Salih. Our glassator's Salafî idea explicitly reflected the issues about belief and Islamic law. He showed sensitivity in all pacts of the commentsuch as faith, belief, oneness, the names of Allah and intercession. He continuously took into consideration the relation between belief and good work in his book. He insisted on dividing oneness (Tewhid) into three parts. He often put emphasison oneness especially about worshig and Godhead
