Abstract (EN)
The Qur'āniyyūn is an important movement of thought that has influenced the last periods of Islamic thought. In this context, detailed studies on the current are required specially to understand today's religious interpretations. While examining the current of the Qur'ān, which constitutes the first part of our study, regional analyses were made, and criticisms were brought alongside the conceptual and historical framework. Mohammad Shahrur (d. 2019) was one of the last thinkers to study the Qur'ān as an engineer. Contemporary reading, which forms the basis of his interpretation of the Qur'ān, includes new methods, different concepts, and criticisms of the traditional approach. The life, works and mindset of Shahrur, who mentioned many opinions related to the Qur'ān movement, were given in the first chapter. In the second part of the study, we will try to present the interpretation of the Qur'ān through the interpretations that Shahrur brings to the verses related to creation, faith, morality, and worship, as well as his approach to the sciences, terminology and methodology of the Qur'ān.
