Abstract (EN)
Our study is composed of four section in the first part, important global organizations are mentioned by considering the theoretical and institutional backgrounds of the global financial management.In the second part of our study, we are going to analyze the operation and organization style of the International Money Fund and the theoretical infra structure of it; as the basic axis of our study and the basic actor of globalization.In the third part, the stabilization precautions that applied to the developing countries by IMF are analyzed and the effects of these stabilization policies on Latin American countries like Argentina, Mexico, Chile and Brazil are mentioned.In the fourth and the last part, the economic problems that Turkey faced are mentioned, Turkey ? IMF relations are analyzed in two sections as before and after 1980s. Also the effects of 2007 global financial crisis on Turkey?s economy will take place in this part.As a conclusion, this study tries to create a point of view about Structural Adjustment Programmes and IMF as an important actor of economy in the world and as well as in Turkey.
