The concept of globalization of economic size and reflection of Turkey

In this thesis, the concept of globalization, the extent of economical globalization andthe repercussion to Turkey was researched. Three main importent dates in development ofglobalization concept. These dates are; Endustrial Revolution 1789, World Economic Crisis1929 and disintegration of Soviet Union. In this study, The global economy in the worldhistory of these three dates effects are evaluated whitin in the historical prcess. Besides, themajor effects of global financial events in the world to Turkey are taken up.This Thesis consists of three main sections. In first section, the concept ofglobalization is discussed. In second section, focused on the economic factors ofglobalizations by taking history of economic globalization. In third section, the effects ofglobalization to Turkey from before the republic until the modern Turkey was investigated.
