Abstract (EN)
Globalization, is a concept that describes the process of eliminating the differences there transportation, communications, and information on developments in the field of spatial distances from the social and cultural arrangements. Now, any development in the world effects the whole world. Furthermore, consumption is the process through which are in need to eliminate their needs. Globalization has influenced almost everything. Consumption which is an element of culture has also been influenced. The consumption activities which are current in a particular place was able to get under the influence of whole world. A phenomenon called ?consumer culture? come too the scene. Especially, globalization and consumer culture has been effective in Turkey since 1980?s. In this study through globalization are studied on the Turkish community consumption habits what caused changes.
