Abstract (EN)

It was aimed with this study to investigate the relationship between corporate entrepreneurship and enterprise performance levels of the employees in the hotels in Adana. In line with this purpose, the study was carried out with white-collar employees working in the hotels with four stars or more which deliver service in Adana province. The independent groups were analysed by t-test, one-way variance analysis was made with Anova test and Post Hoc test, one of multiple comparison tests, was used to find out the reason of the difference. Besides, correlation analysis methods were made use of so as to define the relationships between the scales. In this context, the study was implemented to white-collar employees working in the hotels with four stars or more in Seyhan, Yüreğir and Çukurova central districts of Adana between June 1, 2017 and June 30, 2017 due to the time limitation. Therefore, the study could be conducted with 157 participants due to the time limitation. It was concluded in this research that there was a statistically significant relationship between the corporate entrepreneurship's sub-dimensions of tendency of taking risks, innovativeness, proactivity (not added), organizational innovation, competitive aggressiveness and competitive structure of the environment and enterprise performance's sub-dimensions of financial and nonfinancial (p<0,05). No statistically significant difference was found between proactivity and enterprise performance's sun-dimensions of financial and nonfinancial (p>0,05). The results of the relationships between the variables of the gender, age and educational status of the participants and the sub-dimensions of corporate entrepreneurship were investigated. With regard to the age variable, it was observed that the participants displayed a positive tendency as the age of them increases. With regard to the variable of educational status, it was determined that there was a negative tendency as the educational level goes up while the female participants had more positive opinions than the male participants with regard to variable of gender.
