Turkey's experiences in the process of institutional change from the perspective of institutional economics: The effects of social assistance on institutional change

As economies and social sciences have strengthened the history of economic thought with the transformations caused by the past centuries and various breaks, it also leads to the emergence of new economics schools over time. The focus of the institutional economics school, which this transformation brings, is shaped by the institutions. The formal and informal institutions that can become elements of resistance to change also play a role in transferring the relations between economic actors and social groups to the next centuries and generations. It is possible to evaluate more than one social problem such as social structure, institutional change, social policy and social assistance through institutions. One of the issues that must be emphasized is the good analysis of the institutions which are formed by evaluating the social and economic perspective with a wide perspective and which shape the society and social structure. It is of great importance that the events in the world, together with the globalization, change the economic structure rapidly and that this change affects the social structure experienced in the same pace and the effects of the institutions, social assistance and institutional change in the late industrializing societies of today. In the light of these developments, from the perspective of institutional economics, the effects of social assistance on institutional change will be evaluated in the context of Turkey's experiences in the process of institutional change.
