Abstract (EN)
After the globalization spread all around the world, corporate governance has become very popular. This study aims to explain the concepts of corporate governance and the relationship between corporate governance implementions and company valuation. Firstly, corporate goverance will be defined and related theories about corporate governance will be explained. Then literature between corporate governance and company value will be given. And the relation between firm value, which are listed in Corporate Governance Index in Borsa Istanbul and corporate governance implementions will be explained. According to results, corporate governance scores of companies that listed in Borsa İstanbul Corporate Governance Index (XKURY) are positively related to firm valuations.
