Abstract (EN)

In this research, it is aimed to determine spending behaviour of leasure time of polices working at security forces.Survey used in the research was applied to 72 female, 492 male and in total 564 polices in Kutahya Security Forces in 2010. for application of the surveys, authorization was asked from security management, stands were placed, and some surveys distributed to individuals. In the research, differences between activities preferred by polices, factors directing to these activities, effects of these activities on polices, reasons for not attempting to activities were determined in the perspective of experience of polices. Nonparametric data collected from the research were transformed to parametric data using inventories. By taking average of each inventories, frequency analysis was used for demographic properties, Chi-Square statistic at ? =0.05 level was used for difference analysis.Research results; there was not a significant difference of activities preferred by polices, on activity preferring reasons, directing reasons to these activities and reasons not attempting to activities based at leasure times (p>0.05). According to results, it is suggested that different activities based on working experience may be formed, further research may provide using of recreation as a vacational rehabilitation.
