Abstract (EN)

In this study, potential probiotic isolated from intestinal microbiotaof sea bream (Sparus aurata) obtained from wild and aquaculturein the Northeastern Mediterranean, wasidentified as molecularly and in vitro criteria that must be found in potentialprobiotic bacteria were determined and evaluated.Total aerobic intestinal bacterial count of sea bream captured from wild werefound (105-109 cfu/mL) higher than, the total aerobic intestinal bacterial count (103-107 cfu/mL) of sea bream taken from aquaculture system(p≤0,01). It was determined that the number of isolates (17 strains ) that show hydrophobic character obtained from wild is higher than the number of isolates (4 strains) obtained from aquaculture system. Isolated potential probiotic bacteria as Rothia dentocariosa (293bp), Kocuria rosea (285bp), Kocuria kristinae (480bp), Acinetobacter lwoffi (400bp), Pseudomonas flourecens (351bp), Streptococcus sanguis (238bp), Kocuria varians (220bp)were identified as genotypic by PCR. It has been observed that the probiotic bacteria diversity of sea bream captured in wild were richer.Within the scope of this doctoral thesis, it was concluded that the strains, Rothia dentocariosa, Acinetobacter lwoffi, Kocuria rosea and Pseudomonas flourecens showing important probiotic propertiescan be used as feed additives.
