Özet (EN)

This study encompasses the detailed investigation of the design and synthesis of metal organic frameworks (MOFs) involving the Cu(I)-Ni(II)/(Ln(III) (Ln=La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Dy)-organic ligand arrangements. The effect of conditions such as stoichiometry, pH, and temperature on the structure of the compounds in hydrothermal conditions are also investigated. In the scope of the research, coordination polymers synthesized by using 2,3-pydc, 2,5-pydc, 2,6-pydc, 2,3-pzdc, and H2pip ligands characterized by the elemental analysis, ICP-OES, FT-IR, FIR, TGA, single crystal X-ray, PXRD, FESEM and BET analysis. The compounds have been successfully obtained as pure crystalline phases with high purities. Luminescence properties and heterogeneous catalytic activities of the compounds have been also investigated. The coordination polymers including Cu(I) and lanthanide metals were found to have different emission values at the range of 360-670 nm. As a result of the HPLC and GC/MS analysis, the selectivities were measured as 100% for the oxidation of thymol to thymoquinone for synthesized catalysts.
