Abstract (EN)
Even as early as the 8th century, the Turkish language proved to be a rich and powerful language by giving a masterpiece like the Göktürk Inscriptions. The names of many works such as Dîvânu Lugâti't-Türk, Kutadgu Bilig, Muhakemetü'l Lügateyn, Yunus Divânı, Garibname, Harnâme, which show that the Turkish language is an extremely powerful and developed language apart from the Göktürk Inscriptions, can be counted. In addition to these literary works, there are also grammar books showing that the Turkish language has a well-established structure and solid rules. As the grammar books on the Turkish language, starting with Müyessiretü'l Ulûm, which is the first known grammar book, are examined, both the structure and rules of Turkish and the changes in this structure and rules will be seen more easily. Undoubtedly, these studies will be useful for us to know and solve the Turkish language better and to solve the problems that may be encountered in the course of the development of the language. It is aimed to examine in detail how and with which methods the subject of adjectives was handled in the historical course of the Turkish language by considering the subject of adjectives on a selection made from the grammar books written from the 16th century to the 1928 letter revolution.
