Ligeti's third book piano etudes and performance guideline

The aim of this study is to analyze Ligeti's general composition style and the structure materials he used in his etudes so that his third book etudes could be better recognized. Analyzing Ligeti's third book piano etudes, which are less played compared to his other etudes, from a pianistic perspective to create a performance guide that will contribute to more comfortable and frequent playing of his etudes. This study aims to be a guide for the performers on how to study the Ligeti piano etudes which are less well-known in Turkey. Keywords: Twentieth Century Music, György Ligeti, Ligeti's Piano Etudes
