Lip recognition using opencv

There have been many innovations in lip-recognition which usually incorporates lip localization and detection, highlight extraction, reading technique, acknowledgment technique, combination strategy, the arrangement of the mouth and the corpus. This thesis introduces the concepts used in lip-reading recognition considering both how the visual representation is transferred to the computer, and how machine learning techniques are used to associate lip shapes with the sounds produced. An improved procedure for lipacknowledgement is introduced, with the innovations discussed in several areas such as point of interest, lip restriction strategies, lip limitation highlights and so forth. In addition, the research discusses the difficulties and limitations of lip recognition systems, and provides valuable recommendations and suggestions for improving the accuracy of lip recognition using the findings of the practical work.
