Southeastern Anatolia region is a very rich region in terms of solar energy potential. For this reason, unlicensed solar power plants are widely installed in the region. Considering the wind energy potential, it is seen that wind energy power plants have begun to develop in the region. There are certain procedures and technical requirements in the installation of unlicensed power plants. These requirements are based on the capacity of the plant, its compatibility with the connection network and attention to environmental impacts. In order to invest in unlicensed power plants in the region, it is important to pay attention to local regulations, legislation and technical details. Regulations are published by EMRA and calculations are made based on the regulations. In this thesis study, the types of solar power plants in the Southeastern Anatolia region and the efficiency of solar energy panels will be determined by calculating the cost that covers the production support fee. By comparing the production costs of the provinces, the efficiency between the provinces will be discussed and the effects of seasonal transitions will be examined. It is aimed that the findings obtained within the scope of the study will contribute to our country. For this purpose, various power plants in the provinces of the study area were examined. Within the scope of the study, the types of power plants, their internal and external structures were examined. It is aimed to maximize the efficiency of the power plants by examining the environmental conditions such as temperature and dust to which the power plants are exposed. Within the scope of the thesis, the amounts gained by the plant owners from the production using unlicensed power plants will be calculated and the accumulation of solar energy in the region will be determined. As a result of these determinations, it is aimed to achieve energy savings with high efficiency, taking into account the factors affecting efficiency. Solar energy, clean energy production thanks to sustainability we will give great importance. Solar energy investments are to meet regional energy needs and to provide supply-demand amount. Development projects in the region have an important place when there is a lot of energy stored. The findings of the study will contribute to energy use by shedding light on future investments.
