Study of the effect of high school students' attitudes to physical education and sports on socialization

This study was conducted to examine the effects of high school students' attitudes towards physical education and sports lessons on socialization. The population of the research consists of 600 high school students studying in the 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grades in six different public schools affiliated to the Silopi District National Education Directorate in the province of Şırnak in the 2021-2022 academic year. The sample of the study consists of randomly selected students in the universe group. In order to reveal the current situation in the research, as a data collection tool, an 11-question personal information form consisting of some socio-demographic and sports-related information of the students, the 35-item Physical Education Attitude Scale developed by Güllü and Güçlü (2009) and Şahan (2005) in order to determine the level of sports and socialization. 2008), a 35-item sports and socialization scale was used.
