The relationship between the working life quality and job safisfaction levels of high school teachers

In this study, it was aimed to determine the relationship between high school teachers' perceptions of work life quality and their job satisfaction. The study population of the study consisted of 1548 teachers working in high schools in Elazig City Center, and the sample of 320 high school teachers selected by proportional cluster sampling method. In the research, work life quality and job satisfaction scales were used as data collection tools. As a result of the study, the participants answered the job satisfaction at the level of "I agree", the internal satisfaction sub-dimension at the level of "I agree" and the external satisfaction sub-dimension at the level of "I agree" The teachers' participation levels in the job satisfaction scale and its subdimensions did not differ significantly depending on the variables of gender and educational status; It was determined that there is a statistically significant difference in terms of age, marital status, professional seniority and opportunity levels variables. Teachers' work life quality levels are "undecided", job career satisfaction "agree", general well-being "undecided", ability to control work "undecided", working conditions "indecisive", work life stress "disagree" and family-work life balance sub-dimension their level is "I agree"; It was determined that there was no statistically significant relationship between teachers 'participation levels in the work life quality scale and its sub-dimensions and the variables of gender and educational status, and there was a statistically significant relationship between teachers' other characteristics and the work life quality scale and its sub-dimensions. It was found that teachers' participation scores in the job satisfaction scale and its sub-dimensions did not differ significantly depending on the variables of gender and educational status; It has been determined that there is a statistically significant difference between age, marital status, professional seniority and opportunity levels. As a result, it is found that teachers' perceptions of work life quality and job satisfaction are at medium level; It was determined that there is a positive, moderate and linear relationship between perceptions of job quality of life and job satisfaction levels.
