Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to research and analyze the effects of digital marketing activities on logistics sector. Nowadays, the rapid progress of technology has made the phenomenon of globalization gain importance. Logistics companies have started to use new applications in order to hold onto the sector. Many of these applications are equivalent to developing technology and digitalization. However, the traditional marketing elements used by logistics companies have been replaced by digital marketing activities. By following all these developments, the purpose of developing suitable applications is to satisfy the customers. Since logistics companies are a part of the service sector, it is one of their primary objectives to know their customers closely and to respond directly to their requests and needs. Customer satisfaction is the top priority for achieving a sectoral competitive advantage. This research consists of three parts. In the first and second part, the literature research related to logistics sector and marketing was conducted and information was given. In the third section, which is the application section, a company that provides both local and global services suitable for the research purpose is selected and analyzed and sectoral developments are explained. The findings of the research reveal the importance of digital marketing in logistics companies. As researched in this study, it is clear that the importance of digital marketing in logistics companies will increase in time.
