Abstract (EN)

Today, "luxury" is conceptualized as a very vague term regarding the consumption behavior of the modern individual, who acquires the various elements that make up his identity and lifestyle through consumption activities. The fashion of clothing, whose meanings of modern marketing practices change rapidly and make it desirable as indicators valued on the basis of this rate of change, has created a consumption area that is important for individuals in almost every segment of the world, whose dynamics are shaped by the global economy. Popular culture is a culture that gives false happiness by moving away from social realities and things that make people unhappy. Since popular culture is ideological, research on this issue has increased recently. The desire to consume is imposed on societies like a normal behavior. Since the most important feature of popular culture is adopted in a short time and disappears in a short time, it causes difficulties for the sector to follow the changes closely and keep the consumption motive alive.
